Our high end prints and reproductions
What is "Fine Art" printing?
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Artmajeur only uses natural papers with neutral pH, resistant, and of high quality, selected from renowned papermakers!
Constant attention is paid by our master printer, whether in terms of color control or respect for the graphic chain. Our high level of quality requirement is a major asset of Artmajeur framed art prints.
Artmajeur offers two types of finishes
-
Glossy finish
Art Print "Fine Art" - Glossy finish on a fiber base paper 325 g. (Hahnemühle fine art baryta 325g)Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.
-
Matte finish
Art Print "Fine Art" - Matt finish on a 100% cotton paper 308 g. (Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308g)Exceptionally thick, 100% cotton paper, slightly textured, luminous, its surface offers an amazing velvety rendering. It is especially designed for the reproduction of works of art with great image depth. Its very fine and soft surface area provides an intense color and deep blacks with excellent resistance to aging.
Printing on aluminum or "Dibond" is popular with the greatest artists, and reveals a particularly contemporary appearance. It highlights the colorful and intense compositions. Fine Art prints are bonded to a rigid backing to ensure an exceptional durability when printed on aluminum.

The float frame is a particularly attractive medium for the presentation of works of art. The image seems to float in the frame, accentuating the intensity of the colors and shades. It is currently used framed in museums. The fine-art print is glued on rigid aluminum support, before framing it.
